About The Club

Sheffield United Football Club, commonly known as Sheffield United or the Blades, is a professional football club based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England. 

Founded in 1889, Sheffield United is one of the oldest football clubs in the world. The club has a storied history and has experienced periods of success both domestically and internationally. They have won the English First Division (now Premier League) once, in the 1897-1898 season, and have claimed the FA Cup four times, with their most recent triumph occurring in 1925. 

Sheffield United has seen varied fortunes in recent years. After spending numerous seasons in lower divisions, they earned promotion to the Premier League for the 2019-2020 season under the management of Chris Wilder. Their return to the top flight was impressive, finishing ninth in their first season back. However, they were relegated back to the EFL Championship after the 2020-2021 campaign.

Sheffield United Football Club is owned by Abdullah bin Musa'ad bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, a member of the Saudi royal family.

Bramall Lane is the home ground of Sheffield United Football Club, one of the oldest professional football clubs in the world. The club has played its home matches at Bramall Lane since the 19th century. Bramall Lane has a rich and storied history, dating back to its opening in 1855. Initially, it served primarily as a cricket ground before later becoming a multi-purpose sports venue. It has hosted numerous football matches, including domestic league games, cup finals, and international fixtures.


Bramall Lane is conveniently accessible by public transportation, including buses and trains. Sheffield railway station, located approximately one mile northeast of the stadium, offers easy access for fans traveling from across the region.

there is a lack of train stations near bramall lane but there is one option which most trains will stop at.
