About The Club
Chelsea Football Club is a professional football club based in Fulham, London, England.
Chelsea FC was founded in 1905 and has since become one of the most successful clubs in English and European football. The club has won the English First Division/Premier League title six times, the FA Cup eight times, the UEFA Champions League twice, and the UEFA Europa League twice, among other trophies.
In recent years, Chelsea has been consistently competitive both domestically and in European competitions. They have regularly finished in the top four of the Premier League and have challenged for league titles and domestic cups. They have also been a formidable presence in European competitions, reaching the final of the UEFA Champions League multiple times.
Chelsea Football Club was owned by Roman Abramovich, a Russian billionaire businessman who acquired the club in 2003. However, in 2022 American billionaire Todd Boehly and a consortium of investors officially completed their takeover of Chelsea which was worth £4.25 billion.
